Private Provencal Cooking Class in Antibes

You will depart the pier area after being greeted by your English-speaking guide and make your way to your French culinary experience.

Make your way to the shop in Antibes where you will meet the Chef and discover a special world of food all created with flowers.

Antibes is a resort town between Cannes and Nice on the French Riviera (Cote d'Azur). It's known for its old town enclosed by 16th-century ramparts with the star-shaped Fort Carre.

If you are a gourmet cook or just wanting to take a course to learn about this culinary art, this excursion is for everyone.

The Chef will share secrets and tips explaining Provencal recipes that can all be created with a floral product come discover this subtle way of preparing this original cuisine. Examples may include foie gras, candy made with violets, tomato carpaccio with rose and olive oil and hot chocolate soup with pomelos.

Each month of the year with have a specific floral theme according to what is in bloom such as violets, roses or jasmine.

Two courses will be created by you, a starter and a main dish. The dessert will then be prepared by your Chef. And of course the best part of all, once the lessons have been conducted and you have made your dishes all participants will enjoy the fruits of their labor in a convivial atmosphere with the Chef's creation for dessert.

After you have finished at the shop your guide will return you to the pier area and your ship while conducting a city tour along the way.
