You will depart the pier area after being greeted by your English-speaking guide and make your way to your French culinary experience.
Make your way directly to the shop and be welcomed by the Chef where you will begin to study and learn about gourmet menus. The area of the city you will be in is known as the Liberation quarter, this is one of the most popular quarters with bourgeois buildings.
You will be presented with many different Holiday menus along with varying themes (tarts, amuse-bouches, buffets) and specific kinds of foods (shellfish, salmon, foie gras). The menus change every week so as to satisfy everyone's tastes and in order to adapt to the new seasons and its produce. Your Chef will give you expert tips on how to choose the freshest ingredients that will make all the difference in how your cooking can improve.
You will soon learn special techniques, tips and tricks to working in the kitchen. Ask questions, share and exchange your ideas with the Chef and the other participants, and then the fruit of your labors will pay off as you will eat what you have helped to prepare accompanied with a matching wine. This is a comprehensive course and is accessible to everyone.
After the cooking lessons enjoy a panoramic tour within the city as you make your way back to the pier area and your ship.
