Excitement awaits you on the granite walls of the White Pass and in the treetops of an adventure park during this rock climbing and zip lining Skagway combination tour.
Begin the shore excursion from the pier area with an interpretive drive through historic Skagway as you make your way up into the mountains of the White Pass.
Once you have reached the designated trail, hike up-hill through the rainforest on an interpretive nature trail with your guide.
Next, join your professional climbing guides on an incredibly scenic and fun outdoor rock climbing adventure. Put on climbing equipment which includes shoes, helmet and a harness. You will be given a climbing and rappelling safety briefing and then it's your turn to rock climb and rappel. With over a dozen routes, there are climbs for all ability levels. Some climbs of this Skagway excursuion are very easy and others offer more challenge, each ending with a stunning aerial view of the Skagway River, the White Pass Yukon Route Railway and the surrounding wilderness.
After rock climbing you will make your way to the adventure park for zip lining. Receive a safety briefing, your equipment, then join expert guides for the ride of a lifetime, perfect for all abilities! Next up is a fantastic series of five zip lines through the lush Alaskan canopy where you will zoom from platform to platform.
Hike back down the nature trail completely exhilarated from your time in the tree tops where your return transportation will be waiting.
Please Note: Minimum age to participate is 6 years old. Minimum weight required is 50 lbs. and maximum weight allowed is 300 lbs. or 52" waist size for equipment. All zip lining equipment is provided as well as climbing shoes, helmet and harness for rock climbing. Closed toe shoes are required for the trail and guests should dress in layers for warmth and that allows for flexibility. Trail mix snacks, water and hot chocolate is provided. Guests should be in good physical condition in order to hike, climb and zip line.
