Sea Caves and James Bond Island Adventure
Sea Caves and James Bond Island Adventure
Discover the beauty and adventure of Thailand on this picturesque sea cave and James Bond Island tour.
Venture out in a canoe or long tail boat (depending on water level) in the morning to what is known as James Bond Island. Each canoe will have two adult guests and one guide. See a limestone rock about 20 meters tall with a diameter increasing from about 4 meters near the water level to about 8 meters at the top. During your visit to this famous island, you'll discover a popular location where The Man with the Golden Gun was filmed in 1974, starring Roger Moore as James Bond. The famous scene filmed at Koh Tapu is when James Bond meets the bad guy Scaramanga in a duel to settle the fate of the sought after Solex (an item of importance in the movie).
Still to this day, the island is a very popular attraction. The cliff's formation is so breathtaking, you'll be absolutely intrigued. Thereafter, join the rest of the Sea Cave Canoe group to have lunch on a larger boat as you head to Lawa Island. At Lawa Island, you can try paddle boating, or sunbathe and relax on the beach.
