Private Afternoon Sail, Snorkel and BBQ
BBQ, Snorkel & Afternoon Sail Excursion
Come aboard the schooner "Captain Morgan" for a wonderful sailing adventure along much of the Dutch side of the islands coast with swimming and snorkeling and BBQ lunch on this St. Maarten excursion.
Your private group, up to 25 guests, are ensured an ambiance of privacy with plenty of room on the deck in the shade or the sun.
Sailing from the Grand Bay of Phillipsburg, this St. Maarten tour sails along the south coast of the island, passing some of the islands most famous sights, including Fort Amsterdam, and popular (and packed) Pelican and Simpson Bay. You will sail past Maho Beach, located at the end of the International airport's runway, where if your lucky, you may have a jet landing right overhead. The jets approach low over the water is something you do not get to witness every day. You will also see the beauty of the island and nature that can only be seen from the seaside!
Your time on board includes the services of a friendly crew who will treat you to fabulous service. This tour includes a delicious BBQ lunch with our famous ribs, with Captains secret Seasonings, and open bar with sodas, beers and rum punch after the snorkeling.
A stop will be made so that guests can snorkel with the provided equipment. Staff on this St. Maarten excursion will also help you with gear and for guests new to snorkeling, easy instruction so you can get snorkeling to see a sunken helicopter, a tanker, and a sailboat beneath the warm crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. Snorkel stops average 45 minutes and are off the boat.
If your goal is simply to relax and do as little as possible, you can recline in comfort on Captain Morgan's deck with comfortable cushions or the large aft-deck sun lounge while sipping the special rum punch and soaking up the sunshine and listening to the wonderful music. On the return sail, our crew member ensures a good atmosphere with singing. Our gentle kind of sailing is available to senior guests with limited movement as well as the active and the passive guests.
Final itinerary is at the captain's discretion on the day of the tour based on sea and weather conditions and the safety / comfort of the guests. Snorkeling stop may vary as well based on sea and weather conditions.
