Towers and Spires of Dunedin
Towers and Spires of Dunedin
Learn about the fascinating human history of magnificent Dunedin. As you travel through the city you will pass the city center, university, and the railway station. As you travel along you will see church spires, towers, and statues of Dunedin, which is surrounded by green forested hills. Our journey takes us to a golden trail of beaches, a natural harbor, the rollers of the southern Pacific.
And then there is the architecture like no other city in New Zealand, Dunedin has the best-preserved examples of Victorian and Edwardian design.
We stop and get out of the bus on several occasions for photos including Signal Hill Lookout, Otago University, Baldwin St. (steepest in the world), Dunedin Railway Station, First Church of Otago, St Paul's Catherdral, Robert Burns Statue, Octagon, St.Clair Beach, Tomahawk beach, Smails Beach, and Otago Harbour lookout. You may be dropped off in the city rather than at port at the end of the tour. If you choose to be dropped off in the city you will be required to make you own way back to port at your own expense.
