Exclusive Upper Yarra Valley Experience
Exclusive Upper Yarra Valley Experience
On this excursion you will experience where wine, nature, and wildlife meet in the sweeping Yarra Valley, which is host to a thriving wine growing industry. The area's relatively cool climate makes it particularly suited to the production of high-quality chardonnay, pinot noir and sparkling wine.
The Yarra Valley is surrounded by bush covered mountains on three sides, providing breathtaking views and an unforgettable back drop of activities. Enjoy a walk along a Yarra River that is alive with fauna. Go across an aerial path lined with beech trees many centuries old, and then unwind with a wine & cheese tasting at one of the best Yarra Valley wineries.
Your day will start with morning tea at Warburton bakery before heading to the Rain Forest Gallery, a 56 feet high, 130 feet long aerial walkway surrounded by 200 feet tall mountain ash trees up to three centuries old. Then head up to Mount Donna Buang where the views of the Yarra Valley are absolutely amazing, and travel along roads lined by Tree Ferns down into Healesville Sanctuary to see Koala's, Kangaroo's and over two hundred Australian animals.
Finish off the day by sampling some of the Yarra Valley famous wine & cheese, and also take in the Tarra Warra Museum of Art.
