Victoria Whale Watch Safari and Sea Plane Return Pre Cruise Hotel

Start your vacation touring the wild side of Vancouver! Your expedition begins as you board a 62-foot aluminum express cruiser and make your way out to the whale watching area.

A trained naturalist guide will be on hand to explain the eco system and what you see. Around 80 Orca whales make these waters their summer home and Gray and Humpback whales are prevalent in the spring and fall, so your chances of seeing one of these magnificent animals is 85 percent. While on the water you will also have a chance to see other wildlife including sea lions, porpoises and seals. Shorebirds are abundant and include bald eagles, blue herons, gulls and cormorants.

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Gulf Islands as you arrive in Victoria. Once here, explore this historical city with its British influences and popular landmarks such as the Gothic-style Christ Church Cathedral and Craigdarroch Castle. Tour the childhood home of artist and writer Emily Carr then view the beautiful surroundings at Beacon Hill Park or meander through the colorful collection of flower gardens at Butchart Gardens.

Exit the city via a stunning sunset sea plane ride back to Vancouver. If you love nature and exploring an area on your own, then this is the tour for you! Reserve your place today.

Please Note: Your 11-hour tour is available May to September. It is suggested that you bring sun protection plus a warm sweater or jacket due to windy conditions. Guests must be able to enter and exit transportation. No wheelchair access available.
