A Walk Through Wellington

Wellington is burgeoning city abuzz with action. Your guided adventure departs from the Wellington City and Sea Museum. From there, you'll explore a bevy of options for your viewing pleasure before concluding your tour at the Parliament Complex.

In 2011, Lonely Planet declared Wellington the Coolest Little Capital in the World. Following this private adventure, you may reach the same conclusion.

The Wellington City and Sea Museum is the first location you'll visit. The Times, London voted it into the top 50 museums in the world and hopefully you'll agree. Located in lovely Queen's Wharf, it celebrates the city's maritime history and features 150 years of Maori and settler development.

There is Old St. Paul's Anglican Church. This wooden structure is one of the most formidable examples of 19-century Gothic Revival architecture in the world. In addition to the many cafes and restaurants in town, there is the Cable Car Museum near the Harbour and downtown to see.

You'll complete your guided tour in the Central Business District (CBD) with a visit to the conical shaped Parliament House building, and other facilities forming the 'Beehive' complex, like the National Symphony Orchestra of New Zealand, the Royal Ballet Company, and National Library.
