After driving from the town of Lahaina to the trail head, approximately 1 hour each way, you will set off on a 4-hour hike through a lush valley along Maui's famous road to Hana. During the hike, you'll enjoy the view of several scenic waterfalls up to 40 feet high! Feel free to stop and swim in several large pools underneath the waterfalls. You can even leap from waterfall ledges into the pools below!
Your guide will make this 2.5 mile hike come alive with their extensive knowledge of the local animal and plant species, and with their love of life in Hawaii. The elevation change is only around 200 feet, so the hike is not very strenuous. The hike will require some boulder scrambling for short distances in streams, so participants should be comfortable with crossing streams on their hike. You will be provided with a backpack with mosquito repellent, bottled water, ponchos, lunch, and snacks. You won't want to miss this memorable Hawaiian waterfall hike!

We booked this excursion through Costco and are so happy we did. This was one the highlights of our visit to Hawaii. Our guides, Aaron and Nakota, were friendly and informative. They shared so much about Hawaii's culture, history, plants and food while we hiked through the rainforest. The falls we visited were breathtaking and being able to swim there too was awesome. The lunch they provided was good and hit the spot, especially the fresh pineapple. Would definitely recommend this to others

10 of us had such a great time on this hike. It was a little out of my comfort level to cross a creek with water up to your knees. But we all worked together and were rewarded with swimming beneath a waterfall and having a boxed lunch there. And most of us wore our new Costco water shoes on this hike.
I really enjoyed my time with our guide, Pasco, on the Waterfall Hike. He was kind, knowledgeable and fun to be with. In addition, I learned a lot about the land and the culture of Hawaii.
