On this tour, you'll leave from downtown Juneau via bus and make your way to Auke Bay. It's here that you will hop onto a jet boat and truly begin your adventure. Your captain and naturalist will lead the way on an unforgettable search for whales in places like Favorite Channel, Stephens Passage, Lynn Canal and Saginaw Channel; binoculars are included for a better view. In addition to seeing whales, you can expect to see harbor seals, bald eagles, sea lions, and porpoises - not to mention Juneau's beautiful mountains.
Once you're done whale watching, it's off to Alaskan Brewing Company. As you tour the premises, you will be treated to a fun beer history and brewing lesson. You'll even see the place's original brewing system! On this Juneau excursion, there are up to 10 beers on draft that available for sampling. Your samples may include Alaskan Amber, Alaskan White Ale, Freeride APA, and will include at least one Limited Edition Pilot Series or Rough Draft brew. Each traveler will get to take home a souvenir tasting glass. Participants must be able to provide proof of legal age to sample beers.

So much fun! Exciting for "virign" cruisers & enjoyed seeing the beautiful scenery & learning about the whales. Would have loved to see some jump out of the water - but it was truly exciting! The Alaskan Brewing company was amazing too - enjoyed sampling their beer & talking to the locals. I hope to get them as a customer - we manufacture labels!!
This was the perfect combination; whale watching in the morning followed by beer tasting at what has become one of my favorite breweries. The only thing missing was lunch.
