ATV Wilderness Adventure

After checking in at the tour office and filling out your paperwork, you will have a safety briefing on the operation of your ATV. Then get ready for some real Alaskan excitement on the ATV Wilderness Adventure! Whether a novice or expert ATV rider, this trip is a memorable experience in the Alaskan wilderness on your own automatic one or two-passenger ATV!

Riding along old coal mining and ATV trails at speeds up to 30 mph, your adventure includes two breathtaking 360 degree overlooks that provide views of the Alaska Range, Otto Lake, and the Healy Valley.

Then, you'll navigate down to the creek bed, where you'll spend time splashing through the water (depending on recent weather). There are several opportunities to see wildlife throughout your ride, although wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed. The tour covers approximately 10 miles and operates in rain or shine but within safety guidelines. The total time on the trails is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

A helmet, goggles, and gloves will be provided. Helmets are required by law. Eye protection, either the provided goggles or your sunglasses or glasses, is mandatory.

Please Note: If you are staying in the Talkeetna area (McKinley Princess Lodge, Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge etc.), you are approximately 100 miles from the Denali Park main gate area, from where this tour departs. You are responsible for your own transportation to the Denali area.
