Kayak and Beach BBQ Tour

This full day tour will get you out into the wild. After being picked up at your hotel, you will drive to the put in location approximately 30 minutes from the city. Here your guides will give you instruction on operating your two person sea kayak. Experience and fitness are not required for this easy and safe family adventure. The open cockpit design of the boats allows guests to exit and enter without wet feet. After answering any questions, you will shove off.

Your qualified guides will interpret the wild life and ensure your comfort as you paddle through this serene setting during your approximately four hours on the water.

Some of the wildlife you may see include seals, blue herons, cormorants, sea stars and occasionally bald eagles. Everywhere you look will be the spectacular mountain scenery reflected in the beautiful water.

Perhaps the highlight of the trip is a salmon BBQ picnic, served directly from the grill on the beach. Taste delicious fresh salmon right off the grill accompanied by salad, vegetable, often fresh berries as a dessert and iced tea.

All too soon, you will be returned to civilization.
