Your adventure begins when you leave the pier toward Nygardshoyden, where you'll encounter the University of Bergen with its beautiful gardens and impressive library. The Grieg Concert Hall is another notable attraction, one that can host 1,500 attendees during concerts; if you look carefully, you will notice that the venue is shaped like a Grand Piano! During your walk through City Park - home to many of the city's art museums, expect to see charming lakes and even the city's town hall. Other important sites include The Fish Market and the Bryggen Hanseatic Quarters.
Don't worry: you'll be able to take a break from all the walking when you ride the Funicular, a cable car that takes you to the very top of Mount Floyen. While at the top, take advantage of the incredible views; even though you're only a few hundred meters above sea level, the views make it appear as if you're higher up. Once you're done taking photos, you will head back down and return to the ship to complete your Bergen sightseeing tour.
