Private Paris Overview

As this is a private tour, your guide will discuss with you what the more important sites are you want to see that day, and fine tune the tour to your preferences. A popular itinerary to this region includes the following.

Departing from the cruise pier in Le Havre, you will drive for approximately 2 hours 30 minutes inland to the city of lights, Paris.

Upon arrival in Paris, you will begin a panoramic orientation drive of many of the cities highlights. Although you can only scratch the surface of this amazing city in half a day, you will certainly see many of the most famous landmarks.

You will drive along the sweeping Champs-Elizees, the fashion district of Paris, which is anchored by the Arc de triomphe at one end and the Place de la Concorde at the other.

You will drive through the Place Vendome, home to a monumental column errected by Napoleon and the Ritz Hotel. Over the years residents have included Frédéric Chopin, Coco Channel and many other famous Parisians.

Other sites you will pass include the Palais Garnier, home to the Paris Opera until 1989,the Louvre Museum and adjacent Jardin des Tuileries and the River Seine, dividing the Left Bank from the Right Bank.

Photo stops will be made at Ile de la cite for pictures of Notre Dame Cathedral and at the Trocadero for views across the river to the Tour de Eiffel. (Eiffel Tower)You will have free time to purchase lunch (at your own expense) before re-boarding your transportation. Finish your day with a relaxing 2 hour 30 minute drive directly back to Le Havre via the motorway.

There is not enough time in a full day to see all of Paris. This tour will give you an overview and a reason to return some day. There are no interior visits included, or admissions required in the itinerary outlined above. Any changes in itinerary requiring admissions would be guests responsibility at the site.
