Historic Gold Mining and Panning Adventure

Very fun. Our guide was friendly and informative. He was able to explain the gold panning process so I collected gold flakes. He helped everyone. The venue was attractive and had clean restrooms.

Renell provided us with exceptional customer service when I made a mistake on booking our excursion. She listened and fixed everything for us, and we are very thankful for that! Because of her help we had a fun time with Jimmy, our tour guide! He was so informative and encouraging on our quest for gold. He really made our trip special! Job well done!

Grandchildren loved this tour!!! Panning for gold was very exciting for them to do and they are all between the ages 12-16. They came home with their treasures, smiles on their faces!! I did not go on this tour myself but the parents did and they enjoyed it too. I paid.

As expected

This is a fun tour. The guide comes dressed as a prospector, is very funny and knowledgeable of the area. Made several interesting stops along the way before coming to the panning area. We were taught how to pan and all found gold. I now have gold from Alaska in my vial at home. Great time!

Was a very good excursion. Scenery was wonderful plus driver friendly and informative. A little crowded, however.

This was a short and fun opportunity to do some real gold panning. They take the actual dirt from the actual river you are visiting. Because it is a quick excursion, it gives you time to enjoy the rest of Juneau. We all found gold and the views from the river were beautiful.

Sterling(yes, that's his name) was our guide. His talks and demonstrations really made this interesting and fun. Anyone in the family will enjoy this. Two young boys in our group ha a great time. My wife and I are 76 and did so too.

I had great fun and the guide was very entertaining. He really new about mining and panning and every one in the group learned and enjoyed every moment of it. Stirling was the best guide we could have ever thought of!!!!

Our trip was fantastic! Matt was our best guide of the whole trip. He was knowledgeable about everything we asked, he was great with the younger members of our group and he was really funny. We all found a little gold too. If all your guides are as good as Matt, you have the best employees around. He's worth every penny you pay him and more.
