Learned a lot about salmon

We enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about salmon. Our tour guide was very personable which made the tour 4 stars. It's really a bus ride to the hatchery with a stop for photos.

Unfortunately, we were not able to visit the hatchery.
Van driver was very entertaining and knowledgable. Overall we had a pleasant excursion

Fabulous Tour and vey Infomative

This excursion was great. Turned out only 3 couples signed up for it. Two from our Cruise ship and one from another Cruise ship. The tour guide was young, had only been in the area for 6 months, but he was fabulous. He knew the area and the history, answered all questions and was very personable. He would take photos of you if asked. Again, allowed us to linger at the stops but kept us captivated. He shared a lot about himself and his family and background, and made the tour a real pleasure. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we had and the information about Juneau, the Glacier and the Salmon hatchery. It was a great excursion. Easy to connect up with, just a short walk from the ship.

This was the highlight of our shore excursions. The driver, Bob, was a laugh a minute and really made the experience a great one.

Our tour guide was great! The hatchery was very neat to see and the glacier view was cool. Pretty far away view, but still neat to see. The guide really made the trip.

Excellent personal skills and knowledge and a good sense of humour on the part of our tour guide made this tour fun, engaging, and an excellent source of facts and history about Juneau and the fish hatchery.
The only disappointment was the fact that we were quite a distance away from the Glacier. It was a great view, but I had expected to be closer to it and perhaps have been able to go to the interpretive centre closer to the glacier.

City tour wasn't much, but the hatchery and glacier view were very good. It was salmon spawning time which made the tour of the hatchery outstanding

Short tour but good

It was a short tour. Most of the time was spent at the fishery. Its a good tour if you plan on doing other things in town and your crunched for time.
Our guide was new to the area, but very good and you could tell had a passion or Juneau.

I would highly suggest this tour. Our guide was a local so he was able to tell us all the history of the city as well as show us little things to look for on the way to the glacier. We stopped along the way at a lookout and could see our cruise ship with the city in the background. Prefect Picture! When we got to the glacier we had plenty of time to explore and take beautiful pictures of the glacier and learn the history.
