Private Mari Mari Cultural Village Tour

An excellent tour. You cross a suspended wooden slat bridge over a clean roaring creek. Lush forest & flowers surround you. Leaves are huge, the size of my torso. Walk "village" to "village" with each depicting a different tribe. The homes/huts are authentically built, chickens are running around, you see a wide variety of foods and rice wines being made over open fires and you can taste any/all for free. One house has the coolest interior trampoline floor, yes the entire floor, made of a bouncy wood. There are large boulders, here and there, with old mossy pictographs carved into them. I learned to successfully make fire with bamboo! Was served a large buffet lunch with chicken, fish, salads and fruits. Traditional dancing and the use of blow pipes for hunting is here for you to learn and try. Wear walking shoes, not flip flops) and learn at an unhurried pace by touching, feeling, trying and doing this is the tour. I highly recommend it!
