Very worthwhile, we highly enjoyed this excursion. Our guide, Nguyen Hieu was very informative and we felt well taken care of. The 1973 Jeep was an absolute joy as we crept through the traffic. We visited many sites including the homes of locals who demonstrated their handicraft. We also had an opportunity to try hat making and mat weaving. Best value and our best excursion of our trip.

Amazing opportunity

While it felt a bit odd riding around in an American-made vehicle where that once meant something very different, it was a truly unique opportunity to get a private, personal perspective on life in Vietnam. I rarely feel tours from cruise ships are truly worth it, but this was worth far more than we paid in terms of insight provided on the lives of the Vietnamese today.
