Not a small group tour as advertised

We were put on a full large bus of 37 people for this tour. While the tour was nice, it was certainly not what I expected.

Everyone had a blast on this trip. The wineries that we visited were very informative and the scenery at the wineries was awe inspiring.

Wonderful Tour

Great tour. Informative, good service and beautiful island. Only problem was the 4PM ferry was a small ferry,and very busy with locals plus the tourists from the ship. There were more people wanting to get on versus seats available. However, our tour guide was able to get us on the ferry. As the same company ran that as the tour they may want to consider which ferry to run at this time in the future.

Timing Needs to Be Improved

The excursion was great. We enjoyed all three stops. Each was informative and it was interesting to taste the different wines and beers. We barely made it back to the ferry in time to get back to our ship in Auckland. The only reason we got on the ferry on-time was because the driver spoke with the ferry staff and they let us cut in line in front of a large number of people. The people left behind were not happy. Timing of this tour needs to be better.

Best Excursion on Trip

Beautiful island. Good guide. Fabulous wineries. Interesting olive oil production. Wonderful lunch in the olive grove at Stonyridge. Fun people
