Spectacular Auckland

This was a fantastic tour! It included a city tour, harbor tour and a ride up the city tower. Lots of information and we felt we really "saw" Auckland.

One of four port package. Our guide was great & delivered an enthusiastic narrative. Unfortunately the boat had broken down & the harbour cruise part of our excursion had to be cancelled. Shorex were excellent post holiday in reimbursing this part of excursion. Would recommend Shorex without hesitation.

Once again the directions for this excursion were vague and coupled with the massive rebuilding going on near and on Warf Street we were frustrated finding the pickup location. Gray Line provided the tour and we got to see the highlights of the city. Included in the tour package was a harbor cruise, Cruise to Davenport and Skytower tickets. We had enough time to do the Harbor Cruise( beautiful) and postponed using the tickets to Davenport ad Skytown until our return to Auckland a few weeks later. We were glad we did as Davenport itself deserves hours of exploring (visit the Patriot Pub for the best chips). We walked to the skytower from the dock, a bit of a steep climb and there is a lot of construction so be careful but the views once you get to the tower are wonderful. We were glad we split this tour package into two days.
