The printed information we received for this tour was a complete muff. in our group there were two printed versions our tour. One bus left early for the Toilets and glow worms tour with only six people on board. Ours left late due to some passengers wanting a tour resolution. Fortunately our driver, Harry, was a sane man, an apologetic man, and did his best to restore harmony. A quick stop at lovely waterfall, an informative guide past bamboo guarded macadamia nut farms plus kiwi and blueberry plantings. Then on to a beautiful lookout point and a welcome rest for an ice cream before going into Kerikeri and lunching beside the oldest stone mission house in N.Z., magnificent magnolia trees and the oldest pear tree in the region. Then a quick stop at a mini-chocolate factory and a wood shop full of beautiful Maori carvings for sale before heading back to port. So for that, and that alone, I rate this tour a nine out of ten.

Great excursion. Our guide was waiting for us, interacted with us, and made the day special. She added a trip to the caves which was not on the list. The weather was rainy but the day was bright.
