Such fun and so informative

We had the awesome opportunity to see a mother Orca teaching her juvenile to hunt. The whales they were after swam off quickly. The naturalist onboard was very informative and it was fantastic to hear the excitment in his voice as he described what was happening and how rare it was. Going through the hole in the wall was exhilarating and very fun. Highly recommend this excursion.

Hole in the rock cruise

Excellent cruise, captain and crew went out of their way to make this day memorable. The weather was favorable for us to actually sail through the hole. Recommend this cruise to anyone wishing to travel to the hole in the rock.

The almost Hole in the Rock Cruise

We didn't get to the Hole as the sea was too rough BUT it was still a great cruise as the guide was very informative and there was much more to see. I highly recommend this cruise. Great value for money

Incredible tour

We had a great tour. Very impressed with the captain and crew. The Hole was incredible to see even if a retarded fisherman prevented us from going through the hole. On the way back we came a cross a pod of dolphins feeding. That was the real highlight of the tour watching them feed and frolic all around the boat. Well worth the cost of the tour.

Good boat ride in Bay of Islands

Enjoyed the ride through the bay and to the Hole in the Wall. It was a beautiful day but the seas didn't allow us to go through the hole - no big deal. Thought we would land on an island for a short while, but the tour lasted as long as stated as it was. We almost missed the tour because our cruise tender went to Waitangi, and we then had to catch a shuttle to Paihia where the tour was departing. Five minutes to spare, so keep that in mind if arriving on a cruise ship.

Hole in the rock

The ship was big , the sea was rough, but the views were great, saw dolphin and birds. The day could have been a bit nicer. Sailing thru the hole was very cool.

This was the first shore excursion booked off ship, however would not hesitate to do so again. Good savings.
