Dunedin City, Castle, and Gardens

We enjoyed visiting the castle and, especially the awesome view from the top. The gardens were lovely and we had plenty of time to enjoy them as we waited for our tour. We enjoyed our lunch from the cafe as we listened to the young bagpiper by the castle. We liked stopping for the photo opportunities from across the bay.

Fantastic tour, plenty to see and do. Interesting tour of Dunedin and seeing the wolds steepest street was great. Lamar has Castle tour and gardens was the highlight could well recommend this tour and finish up at the Chinese gardens was great. Our tour guide was excellent with knowledge and really made the tour. Thankyou for a great day

Forgetting about the fact that the tour was significantly cheaper, smaller, and more personal than the standard cruise ship mass bus tour, it was an excellently run tour. Well paced without being pushed from spot to spot with very good local knowledge.
