Wine and Tapas Tasting

We really enjoyed our experience -- we were the only guests so got the full attention of the owner of the Wine Shop and got to interact and get lots of great insights on the wine and the island. He was a great host. It would have been nice to have paid a little more for the tour and been picked up/dropped off right at the cruise ship; but otherwise the experience itself was great

Monrick does an excellent job at the Wine Room. The small group makes a relaxed atmosphere for easy conversation and questions. I would definitely recommend this excursion when in Aruba

We had a great time on this excursion. If you are a wine lover and are looking for a nice relaxing tour this is the one for you. The only reason I gave this tour four stars is because we did not receive the salami and chocolates as indicated in the write up, nor did we learn about the proper wines to serve with meals. The chocolates was one of the main reasons I signed up for this tour. I would do this tour once, but it’s not a tour I would do twice.’

We booked this tour for a cruise to Aruba. The Wine Room was highly rated based on our research and our visit exceeded expectations. Monrick picked us up at the port and took us back after. He is definitely an expert sommelier! The ambiance was great and we enjoyed a delicious selection of wines that paired perfectly with the tapas bites and followed our wine likes and interests. We bought a bottle from a region we were previously not familiar with. Would definitely do again!

Monrick was a very talented and knowledgeable wine store owner! He had great tastings with the wine in a relaxing environment. We bought extra wines to take with us, as his selections were top notch!! Would recommend for those that love wine!!
