Blue Hole and River Rapids Adventure with Lunch

Fun day exploring the island. Great guides. Bus ride was a little long (longer than estimated) but Blue Hole and Rafting were worth it. Amazing lunch on the beach.

Our entire family 55 yrs - 15yrs had a great time! Our guides helped us up the falls and were always trying to make the most of our time at the falls.

We had an amazing time on this excursion. The food was just okay, but the staff and excursion itself were both great. The falls was wonderful, not over busy. There was a lot of spots that we got to jump in and enjoy. We a group from the age of 7 to the age of 58 and everyone enjoyed this experience. We would highly recommend for good family fun!

This was the best adventure of our cruise. The blue hole is not that extreme (but I am a Colorado girl) and the river had no rapids. The tour guides made it so much fun no matter. The excursion was a beautiful opportunity to take in so much of the scenery because the drive was about 1.5 hours one way. Be prepared with snacks and drinks if you need them because none were offered until lunch.

There is a drive but you get to see countryside and for most part it is beautiful. Guy was our driver and he was great. Lots of history, facts and jokes. Super Jay was our guide at Blue Hole an dhe did a great job helping everyone, taking pictures and using GoPro. He and his friends have no fear! Wear water shoes but sunscreen not necessary because you are in a rainforest and never really in direct sunlight, The tubing was also wonderful and our guide Richard was incredible how he guided us down the river on his boogie board. Lunch was good and I would recommend this trip to anyone. The youngest in our group was 16. It occupied the day and provided some great pictures and memories.

I suggest getting your shore excursion protection bc I didn’t get off the ship. Other people who went loved it.. not as difficult as one may say.

This day was by far our best day on our 7 day cruise. The Blue Hole was amazing, even though it down poured on us (who cares, we were going to get wet anyway!). The guides are excellent in telling you down to where exactly to step as you climb up the water falls and then....jump in! It is not for the faint at heart. You can choose to not climb or not jump, but then you loose a lot of the fun of the excursion. Lunch, then we were driven to a river where we floated down a river with some rapids. It was a lot of driving, but we felt we really got a sense of the island by driving 1.5 hours to the Blue Hole. Also, depending on when you go, the fresh waters change in color. It wasn't the blue you see in the pictures when we went, but it was still very beautiful.

Where we docked on our cruise to Part 1 of the excursion is a hour and 20 min drive. Blue hole is BEAUTIFUL!! You’re climbing waterfalls and rocks then jumping into the water. Also, rope swings. Secure bathing suit and water shoes to be worn. I wish we would have brought an underwater camera. We left everything else in the van. Bring a towel!! You spend a little over a hour here. Then, back into the van for an hour drive back to the river. We tubed down and it was so worth it. It was gorgeous. Our tour guide was awesome!! Afterwords, we got on a boat that took us to the beach. They had wash rooms/ showers to use and change into dry clothes. We were served food and it was jerk chicken, rice, and pasta salad. It was so so so good!! Then the drive back to port was about 25 min. The drive may seem long but the scenery was totally worth it, too.

It was beautiful and a lot of fun.
