Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim

I was hesitant to spend the money for this experience but it was well worth it. the deep water interaction with the dolphins was amazing. We spent more time in the water with them than I expected and it was very interactive.

This was an amazing excursion. We were picked up promptly at a location right off the boat driven to the ferry and took a ferry to the Blue Lagoon. It was a beautiful ride over and once we got to the Lagoon the excitement really started! We watched a short educational presentation about Dolphins and then were split up into small groups of 7-8 people. We all had personal experiences, kissing, getting hugs, petting and dancing with the dolphins. We then all tried the foot push and it was all so amazing, the trainers were great and the photographers did well capturing our amazing experience. It took a while waiting around for the pictures and video, but I was not leaving without documentation of my experience!! I then had lunch and drinks, and went to the back side of the island where I snorkled for a few hours on a quiet beach !! What a day!! I took the four o clock ferry back... And we had music and a dance chain going to ""happy"" which was very appropriate!!!

It was a great experience, The whole family is still raving about it.

My husband and I went on our first cruise and heard this was one of the best things to do in Nassau and I have to admit it was so much fun that I just had to buy the pictures afterwards. You won't regret this chance of a lifetime with these beautiful creatures!

My husband and I had a great time at this shore excursion. This is a once and a lifetime experience to interact with trained dolphins. It is exactly what we expected. We played fetch with the dolphins, fed them, hugged and kissed them, and of course the finale the foot push! You can bring a waterproof camera and my husband and I video taped each other doing the foot push. This helps save in buying pictures.

Amazing experience with the dolphins. Truly a once in lifetime experience. Whole family enjoyed after my kids got comfortable with dolphins. I would suggest kids being good swimmers.

Loved BL Dolphin swim! To start off with, we received our email voucher and detailed instructions on how we were to be transported to the island from our cruise ship. We took a ferry to Blue Lagoon, which was a relaxing, scenic 30 min ride. The excursion is quite pricey, but NOT A POOR VALUE! We got over it quickly as the Dolphins were well trained and a joy. Our family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Had a few mins of actual 1:1 with the dolphins but it was mainly group time. The dolphin swim is actually a foot push technique, not swimming alongside with them. The dolphins also put on a little show with their flips, etc. We loved that they were in a natural environment - the lagoon. One of the dolphins chose to swim away when she was due to interact with my 9 yo son. Rather then whistling the dolphin back, the trainers let her swim around and within a minute the dolphin returned back to my son. They told us she was taking a break, which we appreciate that the trainers were allowing the dolphins to have a free moment. The island lagoon was small and very relaxing with a water park for a fee, as well as inflatables and beach area for all to enjoy. The tour did not incl a buffet lunch on the island but we were able to order sandwich items. There was also a very nice quality souvenier shop. We bought a few pictures as well as the DVD. Upon return home, we were unable to access the DVD videos. I contacted the photo lab and within a few hours, they sent me a video link of the video to download, which worked out very well! We highly recommend Blue Lagoon and would love to return!

The guides really cared about ensuring that everyone had a fun experience. We loved the small groups and amount of time that we had with the dolphins. The guides are super fun and really enhanced the experience.

The staff was well trained and friendly. The dolphins weren't behaving at one point and the trainer had us all get out of the water quickly to put the dophin in a ""time out"". The dolphin was annoyed about this. No tricks, no treats. He got it together and we finished the session. It was well worth the price tag - which I thought was a bit much. The photos were okay but not great. The water was really cold, but they provide wet suits which helped tremendously. My 21 year old daughter is very fearful of larger animals and although apprehensive, she did okay and enjoyed this excursion.

It was a very memorable experience for my 12 year old son - he had been wanting to swim with the dolphins for several years, and he had such a great time! I would recommend it for all animal lovers and age groups; a good family activity.
