Concord, Cambridge and Lexington Tour

Great Bus Tour
November 27, 2018
This was a wonderful excursion. We learned so much about the patriots that started our country. We saw where it happened and also learned of the sacrifice that was required. Our bus driver was also the tour guide. He did a fantastic job.

We have been to Boston several times so we decided to take this tour to get out of the city and explore nearby historical sites. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the history lessons.

Great Tour!!

I have to say that I wasn't sure how this tour would go with the driver being the tour commentator while driving. She did a great job!! Super capable driver, very knowledgeable and personable. It was the perfect way to get a taste of Concord and Lexington. Cambridge was ok (I can say I've been there!) but not as interesting as the other two.

Nice tour!
May 19, 2016
After not having visited Boston in over 15 years, I really wanted something fun and educational to do during our cruise stopover here. The trip to Lexington and Concord was chance to reconnect with Revolutionary War history, and our guide was very good at explaining what really went on as opposed to popular myths. I particularly enjoyed our stop in Concord at the bridge where ""the shot heard round the world"" was fired, and where two British soldiers who died right there are buried (their graves are decorated with military honors, which I thought was very touching.) The bus we traveled in was comfortable. The only con I can say is that I didn't like the feeling of being rushed when we visited Harvard yard, and when we were in Lexington. Just wanted more time to look around. But that's it. I really enjoyed the tour.

History in a Day

Thoroughly enjoyed the historical sights. Bus driver was knowledgeable and funny too. Taxi from the ship to the Transportation bldg was expensive and organization needs to be fine tuned as there was too much confusion as to what bus to take and no one around to ask and get information.
