Judy Martin was our tour guide for the 10/9/19 Historic St John Walking Tour. Excellent tour! Judy was very knowledgeable about the history of St John as well as current events of the community. The tour was very thorough and covered a variety of aspects. We found the history fascinating, and the gardens beautiful. Our tour guide was energetic, fun and conscientious about everyone in the tour (one lady really needed a restroom & Judy made sure to get her to one, without detracting from the tour for the others). There were 6 of us on the tour and everyone had a great time! Highly recommend this tour (and if possible, highly recommend requesting Judy Martin as your guide).

Our guide was a native of St. Johns and gave us a very interesting and informative walking tour.
Tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable! Unfortunately we ran into a rude merchant in the farmers market who was upset we did not use Canadian money and did not have any napkins for us after buying pastries. He also stated that he did not need the cruise ship business!
The man showing us around knew every little detail about what he was showing us. He was also born and raised there so he knew all the ins and outs of everything.

This tour provided a very nice way to see the city.

The guide was very interesting and certainly knew his history. It was a pleasant walk, but it was cold and rainy. Of course, that is their usual pattern in St. John in early May.

Only 5 of us in group. We walked through historic parts of the city with talk of the areas. He explained the building facades and their part in development of the city. Went through shopping areas, both modern and local. Saw park and special shops. Enjoyed tour very much!

Although it was pouring rain most of the tour we still enjoyed it very much. The tour guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about her adopted city. At the beginning, first stop, the talk was a little bit long since we'd only just started the walk but other than that our was excellent. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide was excellent, and we learned much about the history of St. John. Our tour extended the alloted time, as we were very interested in learning, and she didn't rush us along. Highly recommended if you don't have young children.

willow was a great tour guide. Obvious an expert on local history and full of amusing little stories. Leisurely pace with time for photo stops. She also had old postcards to show is what things used to look like. On a practical level, she spoke loudly and clearly so we didn’t have to struggle to hear her. Highly recommended for anyone interested in history. You will love Willow.

Our tour guide was excellent! She was informative, entertaining, and well-versed on the history of St. John's. She showed us a number of points of interest, which we later explored after completing the walking tour. A really great day!
Our group was small—4 people—so we were able to ask lots of questions. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable.

This was a good walking tour, nice slow pace and an excellent tour guide. Visited many sites within the city and our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. A great tour of two very old churches was very interesting. Would highly recommend this one to all.

Our guide was quite knowledgeable about the city, giving us many insights we would never have known or found out on our own. She was also able to get us into a historic theater which was being renovated and one of their employees gave us an ""off the cuff"" 15 minute presentation about the building and the history of it.

We were fortunate to book this small (10 people) walking tour of Saint John. Our guide is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He gives you the best look at Saint John and the most interesting comments as he is the author of 15 books of the area. No crowds to compete with, walked at our own pace, and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend.
