Athens Old and New by Bike

The guide was extremely knowledgeable. Great E-bikes. The tour is mostly side streets and pedestrian paths with only a couple of busy street crossings. The guide provides listening devices so you can hear everything as you’re biking along. Great Greek lunch afterwards.

We had never ridden ebikes before, but we had a great time seeing the sights of Athens on this tour. Stelios was a great tour guide, very careful to not leave anyone behind. We even got souvlakis afterwards, and Stelios recommended a nice local pub to grab a beer before getting taxis back to the ship. Altogether an enjoyable day! I'd highly recommend this tour, and an ebike is simple to catch on to even if you've never been on one.

Everything went as planned. They picked us up, brought us to their shop, we went on an awesome Bike tour around Athens and gave us a ride back to our ship. They even gave us extra time to walk around and grab a beer before we departed. Our guide was awesome, knowledgeable and everyone at the shop was kind. Definitely recommend this tour.

What a great excursion this was! We were able to see so much more in a short amount of time than had we done a walking tour. You do need to know how to ride a bike through small crowds though! Our Guide Stelios was very knowledgable and kept our group of 10 together. He gave us time to stop, take pictures and explore. The meal of souvlaki was very good!

This was an excellent way to see the sites in Athens with a friendly, knowledgeable guide. Danae took us to some interesting sites at a leisurely pace and told us about them at each stop. Afterwards, we enjoyed a gyro together and a little time for shopping before being placed in a cab for a ride back to the port. I highly recommend this excursion.

Exceeded our expectations from start to finish! We were met at the pier promptly by driver and took to the office located a block away from the Acropolis Museum. The bikes were well maintained and worked perfectly. We were new to E-bikes, and they took their time acquainting us with the technology. Our guide, Constantine was fantastic! He took us to the main sites, as well as some parts of the city that are not always seen from a tourist, which made this tour so special. He was also very knowledgeable about the history and made Athens come alive through his explanations. We were fed an authentic snack (Sesame pretzel) and a great Gyro afterwards. We were returned to the ship(included in the price). Can't say enough about the great time we had, and the fantastic value for the money, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Solebike!! Would be a great way to start your stay if you are staying multiple days, or a quick overview if you're short on time.

The tour was very nice start to finish. The bikes were in very good shape, and it turns out were e-bikes. We had never tried e-bikes but enjoyed the varying levels of assist offered. The tour leader was experienced, friendly and adaptive to the needs of the group we were in. For the few intersections with roadway traffic to be crossed, the leader kept things safe. The tour included lunch and another stop for Greek donuts. It was a good value for the cost. The couple who owned the tour business were equally nice. They explained in depth all questions about how the e-bikes worked and price ranges. Our group size was 4 riders and the leader.
