Furnas Valley Island Tour by Van

This was an absolutely perfect day. Our guide was delightful as he took us all over parts of the island we had not seen before. The Botanical Garden was very Jurassic Park like and the steaming pool looked like it would be a real treat but none of us did. The valley with all the humerals was fantastic and learning that is how our lunch would be cooked shocked all of us. Speaking of lunch, it was fantastic, delicious and huge. The Tea Plantation was a surprise and a delight. We learned to really appreciate the island and the lovely, friendly, kind people.
