Well worth the money. A well informed guide with a pleasing personalty. The tour seemed to be an abbreviated version of the tour offered by the ship for much less money. Finding a taxi both ways was very stressful. The port town was small with very few cabs. We waited a long time for both trips. Since it was a PM trip missing the ship was a worry. Transport should be built in the tour rather than being on your own.

We are so glad we chose to use shore excursions group rather than the ship King Crab Excursion. It was 1/2 the price of the cruise line for the exact same Excursion. The only issue we ran into was the explanation of the King Crab Safari said you would meet at the end of the pier and take a bus to the location. That part was incorrect. You have to get a taxi to the location. Even at that it was still cheaper and worth it. We had a personal tour guide at the location and our very own tent for cooking and eating whereas the cruise line had one ten per About 20-40 people. Definitely worth the taxi ride! A must do Excursion.
