The guide was very knowledgeable and kind. He was ver helpful and patient with us. He knows the history of this country well. Nice views! I highly recommend going with him and doing this excursion. Nice lunch too

Coastal Bike and Hike Tour

The scenery was stunning and our guide Gordan was excellent! We were provided with bikes and helmets which fit our size. My bike was a men's bike but it wasn't an issue as my feet could still touch the ground. The hiking portion of the tour was more strenuous than anticipated, as you're climbing a very steep incline for an extended period of time. I would rate this tour as strenuous rather than just having a moderate level of fitness, especially for those who are 60 plus, as was the case with my husband and myself.
Gordan was a very considerate guide, biking to our speed and constantly looking behind to ensure we were following close behind. He allowed us to take as many breaks as needed while hiking. Our luncheon hostess Lillian was gracious and provided us with icy cold bottled water after the biking portion and before the hike. After the hike we had our lunch in front of a lake, which provided us with stunning views.

This tour was billed as moderate but the hike, while short, is steep uphill. 750' elevation gain in about one mile. The bicycles are men's bikes even though there were only 3 women on this tour. I am short and had trouble reaching the ground from the bar which led to a fall on dismounting and a broken tibia.

Easy to find location. Excellent experience with homemade sandwich for lunch. Really fun way to see the island! Also the tour guide was really great and friendly

Coastal Bike N' Hike - Kotor, Montenegro

We're happy to write review for this tour. Kotor is an exceptional place, and biking along the bay was an excellent way to better appreciate it. The old walled town in Kotor is awesome, but biking to the outlying areas brings another perspective. Then, hiking up to the (almost) abandoned village gave a sense of what life was like. The trail was good and there are extensive systems to explore with more time and energy. The view back to the bay was spectacular. Our guide, Gordon, and rest stop host Liliane could not have been more welcoming. You must go before development changes Kotor as its popularity grows for tourism, recreation and as a cruise destination.
