We booked this excursion thinking it would be fun to get some exercise while getting to see the gorgeous Kotor bay and the glistening town from above. We met our very friendly guide who hired a taxi and drove to the top (20+ switchbacks). It was just us and our guide so we had some great conversation on the way down. The walk was a more difficult task than we anticipated because the path is steep and mostly loose rock or slippery rock. You will definitely need good walking shoes (think walking 4 miles on hard rock downhill). It is mostly in the direct sun too so sunscreen, hat and water is necessary. We had a nice break on the way down and enjoyed some great pomegranate juice (skip the Raki). The views are great!
