Ischia and Thermal Baths

Confusion
October 30, 2019
When I read the description of this excursion, I was under the impression that there was more to do in addition to the thermal baths. Our driver, who ended up becoming tour guide, Nicola, told us it was impossible due to the distance and the timeframe. This was very disappointing, as I really wanted to go to the thermal baths but my husband wanted to go sightseeing. Although Nicola gave us a great tour of the island, and took us to very nice place for pizza, the cost I paid was a lot more than what I think would be fair for a sightseeing tour. Perhaps the wording on your description can say specifically that the excursion is for the thermal baths only. This is the reason I gave 4 stars and not 5.

a nice alternative
December 03, 2018
Due to some bad weather the day before our arrival, the Ishia baths were closed. Our guide Roberto was very efficient in letting us know and offering us 2 alternate choices for our very rainy day in Naples. We opted to go with him and 2 other couples on the Amalfi coast drive with stops in Positano, Sorrento and a farm to table lunch. A rainy day, but very nice day. Hope to get to the baths next time...

Away from the crowds
July 02, 2018
Not an inexpensive tour. In fact, the only S.E.G. tour that cost more than what the ship offered. But instead of the normal crowd, we were taken to a private resort, with a beautiful beach, not many people, a private taxi from the ferry, and a beautiful day swimming in the sea, relaxing in the thermal pools of various temperatures, and enjoying the beautiful spa resort.
