A Day in Pompeii and Capri

This was a fantastic tour of both locations. Highly recommend it for those who can’t decide where to go!!

Pompeii leg of the tour was great, would have liked 15-30 more minutes to shop or grab a bite after the morning tour. Unfortunately a storm the night before forced the cancellation of the Capri part of the tour which was very disappointing. It would have been great to have the option to do Sorrento or some other coastal location to make up for it instead of just ending it half way through.

We had the amazing Sandra as our tour guide - she was one of the best of our entire Europe trip. The guide we were handed over to at the Pompei visit wasn’t that great though - very difficult to hear, we weren’t provided head sets & with the busy nature of the ruins it was both hard to hear him over the other visitors plus his English wasn’t the best. The Pompei part of the tour was extremely rushed. But a good day out - full credit to Sandra for being absolutely amazing & well organized so we could make the most of Capri :)

Capri was nice but we spent to much time there which shortened our visit to Pompeii. Also we didn't really stop for lunch and the line for the bathroom was extremely long which delayed us more. We had to walk a distance to get to Pompeii from the bus. The tour of Pompeii was good considering the hordes of people there. Time, however, prevented us from time in the museum. I would recommend doing only one site a day.

We had a great time in both places but you really could spend a whole day in each venue. Our guide was informative, energetic and personable. You will really enjoy the tour!

Very good tour

What a wonderful day ! So much history in Pompeii . Sorry to was such a delightful quaint little city sitting up looking at the Mediterranean Sea and the the gorgeous Isle of Capri one of the highlights of my trip the place is heavenly. Can’t wait to visit again and spend more time on the Isle.

Loved our tour of Capri and Pompeii. Tour was great - and leader was very knowledgeable. Would really want to go back to both these places some day. A long day, lots to see, but very worth it.

Easy trip to Capri and nice walking tour; must see the garden on top of the Capri a quick lunch and dip in the ocean next to the port is all time allowed. Would have liked to spend time in Anacapri if tour was longer. No time for the Blue Grotto; some did an island tour via boat. Pompeii was fascinating and yet only able to explore a sampling of this ancient city. Got lucky with the weather as a storm was coming in (Aug). Cloud cover & a breeze really made the trip pleasant. There is not much in the way of shade so it could have been blistering hot. Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant . We had a couple of people on the tour that weren't flexible and hassled the guide and managed the situation professionally. If you want an overview of two places this is the tour for you. If you really want to experience one or the other in more depth choose one or the other individual tours. I'd go and see both again if I had two days in Naples. If only one day I would do Capri.
