Great viewing of Oslo surrounds.

This shore excursion was first rate. Not only were we given an excellent view of the Oslo area from the water but also an wonderful running commentary all bout what we were seeing. We only had a short time in Oslo and this excursion fit right in. The watercraft used was in excellent condition and we especially enjoyed the availability of drinks and snacks.

While this excursion was delightful, it wasn't what I considered a fjord. What I had in mind, is a lot farther north!

Good Tour

Very easy to find. Walking distance to ship. Good tour of the entire bay. Nice boat. Not overcrowded. Every seat was able to see everything.

Amazing contrasts of city and country

Tour office was conveniently located from our dock, however there are 4 different piers that the cruise ships use. We exchanged our confirmation email for tickets and boarded a wooden boat for a lovely cruise that toured the city's water front and then headed out to see the fjords and summer houses built into the cliffs. Tour guide was knowledgeable and answered individual questions. The Noble Peace Museum was next to the dock and provided an interesting place to get out of the rain until our tour time. Loved seeing the opera house and the summer homes were beautiful built into the cliff walls. Worth the money for a relaxing tour of Oslo.

Oslo Fjord sightseeing cruise

Easy walk to city hall area. While we waited, we happened to walk over to Nobel Peace Center and it was excellent! Once on the cruise, we enjoyed seeing the sights of Oslo however, I was expecting little quiet fjords (saw some) but for most of the two hours we were out in the middle of the bay and the boat rocked a lot when other boats went by. My mom was scared! The driver and guide were excellent.
