Private Pompeii & Amalfi Coast

We had such a great tour. We got the private tour so there were only 6 of us and the guide customized the tour to our group. Very impressed.

We were a group of 5 and as soon as the shipped docked, Federica was waiting for us with a new, clean, comfortable minivan. We had Federica and the whole car to ourselves. We were able to get out of the port quicker than any of the HUGE buses trying to navigate the tiny roads of the Amalfi Coast. We got to see Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii. Whenever we wanted to stop, Federica was obliging. So we got to have a quick private tour of the Ceramiche Casola. Very interesting! Federica called ahead to ensure we had a table waiting for us in Pompeii at a local restaurant. While in Pompeii, Maria-Elena met us and took us on a tour of the ruins. We even got to see a local craftsman making Cameos. Everywhere we went it was crowded and busy, but I never felt rushed or worried about getting back to the ship on time. After doing the Amalfi Coast in a minivan, I would never dream of going on a huge tour bus with all of the people you'd have to continually wait for.Thanks for a great day!
