Fantastic Experience!!!

We had someone waiting for us when got off the ship to take us straight there. Greeted by the sweet owner of a cute little bed and breakfast. She helped us get our helmets on and took us out back where the guide, Carla, was waiting with the horses. Ended up a private tour as just my husband and I went with her. Carla was great! She got us saddled up and off we went through fields, across a shallow river, through some woods and onto the beach along the Straight of Magellan. It was windy of course but really beautiful and such a great experience. Our horses were very calm and sweet and Carla took lots of pictures and even some video of us riding!! After the ride they had a snack prepared for us too!! Such a great day! I would highly recommend this tour!!!

Horseback Riding from Punta Arenas

This was by far the best excursion I have ever experienced. The farm was neat, clean and very well organized. The horses were well taken care of. The guides were knowledgeable about the area and riding the trail and the beach offered fantastic sights. The coffee/tea and snacks at the end of the ride were homemade and delicious. Excellent hosts. I would definitely do this excursion again if I am back in the area.

Great Trip in the Pantanal

We loved getting out in nature along the Strait. The family was lovely and they led us, on nice horses, across a river and through brush and hills and trees, and down on the beach. The snack back at the home was a good finish, too. Highly recommended way to experience Punta Arenas, Chile.

A most enjoyable Excursion

We really enjoyed the horse riding. It was only about a 30 minute car ride from the ship. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. The horses were saddled and ready to go. The lady who led us was very nice, smiling and helpful. The ride had lots of challenges like crossing a river, undulating trails and along a beach. The horses were easy to manage and suitable for beginners. The lady was always checking to make sure we were all okay and adjusted saddles etc along the way. There were also two other experienced riders with us. My horse did go for a gallop along the beach which was fun but the lady came and slowed it down. After we got back to the ranch we had tea and homemade bread and jam. I would highly recommend this tour. It was worth the money.

Great Personalized Excursion

This was a great, off the beaten path (literally) excursion.
The horse back riding includes going through a cattle farm, a small river crossing and a ride along the beach. We were lucky enough to see dolphins in the bay.
I would highly recommend this excursion.

The best. We were the only 2 people for this and we had 2 guides who were great about letting us ride and gallop on the beach. Then we had delicious snacks prepared by the owner's wife.

Gorgeous trail ride and wonderful hosts

We were a party of eight ages ranging from 7 to 40. Every single person felt comfortable and enjoyed every minute of this gorgeous trail ride. We were very grateful for the kind family that hosted this trail ride. The most delicious pastries and fresh bread with warm milk were served at the end. It was such a treat! Thank you for the wonderful experience- Must do excursion!

This excursion greatly exceeded my expectations. It was a small group: 3 plus the guide/owner. He was great and took us to some beautiful locations. My companions were a little uncomfortable at first but he put them at ease and we all had a great ride. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to get away from the hustle and bustle and loves nature.

My friend and I went horseback riding in the Punta Arenas area. Not being on a horse for 37 years I was a bit petrified about having to go - but our guide Guillermo did an excellent job in picking the right horse for me - a pretty old gal named Baillerina (ba-yer-ina) who was very gentle. Guillermo had to deal with three levels of riders - and did a great job in not pushing any of us beyond our capabilities. The ranch they lived on has been in the family for five generations since his ancestors came over from Germany. He and his wife Carolina have cottages on the ground that they appear to rent out to guests as well. After nearly three hours on the horses - we were taken back the ranch for some hot tea and sweet treats made by Carolina - before her dad drove us back to the pier. The ride and scenery were one of the highlights of our trip. I would highly recommend.

If you do not speak Spanish, the 20 minute ride to the modest estancia, may be intimidating. However Carolina and Guillermo, greeted us in English, introduced us to our horses and took us through some spectacular scenery. We crossed rivers, went up mountains, then meandered back down to the ocean for an opportunity to run the horses along the beach. We have only ridden a few times and didn't take them up on the offer to run the horses and trotted instead. Had a great time! Would do again and recommend to anyone going to Punta Arenas.

Best horse riding excursion

Really enjoyed our horse riding despite the language difference. We were picked up on time from the port and welcomed to the farm. good ride covering the beach, river and fields. Plenty of wild life to see on route. Horses were well trained and the ride was comfortable. When we got back coffee and cake awaited us. This was one of our best riding trips. Highly recommended.
