Moorea 4WD Trek

Our guide on this excursion was wonderful. We visited an ancient temple( only the outside walls remain), but during the walkabout here the guide took the time to point out native trees, and how they continue to impact the economy today. He explain ancient rights and rituals which took place in these holy places and you could feel a sense of peace and quite among the ruins. After a quick rain shower we visited Belvedere Lookout. the views were breathtaking. We forged through the jungle to a pineapple plantation and stopped for a few minutes to learn about this wonderful fruit. The visit to the pineapple processing plant was interesting as well as tasty as we sample mixture of pineapple and mango juice and rum. The driver dropped off several people at a local resort for an afternoon of swimming with a promise to pick them up at 3:30. ( He did). This was fun excursion and I am sure it was out guide who added value to the excursion .

This was a lovely excursion which was far more reasonably priced than the Oceania's comparable one. The tour guide was just superb! Beautiful tour of the island and its magnificent views.
