Indigenous Fire Walking Ceremony

We were collected from Mystery Island and taken to another island for the ceremony. Things were very laid back and boat basic, planks as seats etc much as expected. Guide spoke good English on arrival met by local tribesmen in traditional outfits. They told us about their home and lives, uses of coconut tree, demonstrated opening coconut without machete, how to make a stretcher using leaves, making fire traditionally. With this fire they heated the coals and walked on them. Very impressed. They were happy to talk to us and answer questions. We were given coconut and papaya. Then transferred back to Mystery Island. Very enjoyable .
