Mendenhall Lake Canoe Adventure

Would highly recommend the 2 pm time. Was much nicer earlier in the day and we were the only boat on the lake. A really fun experience!

Our canoe trip to the glacier was the best excursion we have ever taken. The guides were excellent and our crew were very good at rowing. The weather was perfect and the lake was like glass. Getting that close to a glacier was pretty cool too! Definitely take this tour!

Meaghan was wonderful, so was Kenneth. We had so much fun A+++++ beautiful weather was great. We also got less then 50 yards from Glacier Thanks to the weather. Well worth it.

I really liked being able to canoe out to the Glacier, felt good to get a workout. When we did stop and dock by the waterfall our guide had a delicious snack for us, complete with salmon dip!

The setting in a beautiful tranquil lake, with a glacier and and cool falls as the landscape this canoe excursion is a fun and beautiful excursion. The guides were knowledgeable and courteous, it’s the perfect activity to get to know your fellow travelers.

This was a really fun experience! The guide did an wonderful job to guide the young men/ladies to paddle up close to the glacier. That was amazing and very memorable for our family! Our family including three teenage had a great time for our first canoe experience! My husband in the last minute decided to give up his fishing trip to join us for canoe. He enjoyed so much and felt lucky he made the right decision.

Our guide was knowledgeable and a strong lead on the lake. We got to canoe close to the glacier and stop on the shore next to the nearby waterfall. I would give 5 stars to the guide, and 2 stars for the people on the canoe! Many people opted out of rowing or were really inconsistent, which was frustrating. If you take this excursion, know that you should be doing a little work! My in-laws are in their 70s and did more paddling than the majority of the other large party that were on our canoe. Still, it was a beautiful experience!
