Best ever

thoroughly enjoyed our experiences with the whole excursion. We didn,t realise that we would be by ourselves in a private dormobile with our own driver and tour guide. We felt very special. They took us to quite a few places and the guide was very knowlegable. Would definitely do it again sometime

We drove to the highlands with several interesting stops; gardens, crafts, performance. Lunch was at a restaurant overlooking a valley and mountains, very good buffet meal.

Lovely time in Bali

We had a wonderful day in Bali with our local guide, who was very informative and driver, who managed the Bali traffic calmly and expertly. This was our first experience in non-cruiseship excursions and we were very pleased. We saw some beautiful temples and countryside, plus we were able to customize what we wanted to see and do. First rate!

Seeing Bali

I cannot say enough about this tour. We were greeted at the cruise terminal by our guide Sudi. He spoke English very well as did the driver. We spent over 8 hours exploding Balinese culture and traditions. We visited during a holy season and witnessed many village parades honoring ancestors. We made several retail stops but also spent over an hour visiting a temple. Sudi provided insight into the Hindu religion and beliefs. We next visited a volcano area. It was easy to spot the different layers of ash representing eruptions. Unexpectedly, our tour included lunch at a mountain top restaurant. One of the best tours I have ever taken.

Bali Highlands Tour

I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. The driver was very safe and the guide friendly and very knowledgeable. What was included was great too, the music an dance (Balinese opera ?), a stop at a coffee plantation, a delicious authentic Indonesian buffet up near 2 active volcanoes, an interesting stop at a temple complex, and then a decent indoor market with plenty of quality souvenirs , and getting us back to the pier in plenty of time. We passed rice fields but did not stop as the three of us were very familiar already (and one had been forced to be a rice farmer in China during her growing up years. )
