Guide was knowledgeable. Good review of the island-slave huts were interesting. Watching the salt get loaded on the ships was interesting too. It helped that it was a beautiful day!

Excellent guide to take us on a history tour of your island . Took many photos

You won’t be disappointed when you book this amazing tour! Bonaire was our favorite of the ABC islands and the history is fascinating. For such a small island it is vastly different from the north and south ends. The coast is gorgeous and we were able to see some flamingos up close. Our guide Will was incredible and knowledgeable!

While the tour was good, there is not much to see on this island. Its claim to fame rests off-shore with over 85 dive sites for scuba afficionatos. Salt industry development was interesting.

We were very lucky on this tour, we were the only ones that was on the tour, so it was a private tour by the driver I think he name was Wil. He tooked us everywhere on the island. Showed us the salt flats, where the slaves used to live in by the salt flats. We then drove down the coast of the island. But the water is so clear that you can see the turtles swiming in the water. The different colors of the water. While we were there one of the colorful birds from the island just sat on top of the tree to check us out. Also along the shoreline you see the caves made from the volcanos on the side of the road. Then we went to the goto lake where all of the flamingos are at. You can take pictures of the flamingos because thet get real close to you. We then went to a little town in the hills and showed us the house that Indians still live, because they have Indian heads on the front of the house. Then he took us back to the port. It was a very good tour and I would recommeded it anyone.

It was a very interesting look at Bonaire and it's history. Our tour guide was very informative about the whole process of the salt production. He also shared the history of the slaves and their lives. I would highly recommend this tour.

Took this tour in March 2020 and it was excellent. We were in a small group with about 10 people and the guide was very informative and entertaining. He brought along water, which was appreciated on a hot day. It was nice to be in a small group and be able to ask questions. He told stories of his life on the island. Really enjoyed it!

This was one of the best tours on our trip. I liked being in a small van, the tour guide was easy to understand, and all the points he took us to were very interesting--the salt pile, slave huts, Goto Lake where we saw flamingos. It was a great tour of the island.

I knew nothing about this lovely paradise before taking this tour . Our guide was a great communicator and fun person who truly gave us an excellent idea of the history of the island and about life on the island. He made sure to make lots of stops so we could take photographs to enhance our memories. I recommend this tour very highly!

Great excursion. Very interesting and we had a wonderful tour guide. It was the highlight of my Caribbean cruise. Don't miss this one!

An excellent tour to appreciate Bonaire. Well organized, prompt and spent appropriate amount of time in locations of interest. As I am a keen photographer it provided ample opportunities to take great pictures.

We were fortunate to get a great tour guide. Enjoyed Bonaire much more than Aruba. The slave quarters were quite interesting. Guide was knowledgeable. Too much time spent on salt. Will do again.

This was a very relaxing shore excursion with great introduction about the history and the natural beauty of the island. We saw a lot and the driver/tour guide was very informative. We all enjoyed the excursion very much.

The tour and the guide was as good as promised. It proved to be better than the excursions offered by the cruise ship.

Booking was a breeze. Communication was clear & easy to understand and spot on for hooking up with our guide/operator once in Bonaire. Group size was perfect at about 15-16 people. Mini-bus as expected. Functional & as comfortable as you can make it. Informative guide. Frequent stops for photo ops and REALLY appreciated that we didn’t stop at every souvenir shop like some other excursions we’ve been on offered thru the cruise lines. Bottom line: An excellent introduction to Bonaire & would recommend this tour, the local operator & Shore Excursion Group to anyone. We will use them again.

Being our first visit to Bonaire we did not know what to expect and to say that we enjoyed the tour was an understatement, The tour guide was very efficient and very interesting in her presentation particularly about the salt flats and the slaves huts. It was an extremely well spent four hours or so.

Tour guide gave an inspiring description of an island that has intense pride in itself. This tour set the tone for how we viewed and enjoyed this unique island -- a coral reef among volcanic islands.

Our tour guide, Bettina, met us early and in the spot that the paper stated. I told her that my name was Tina and we just laughed. We saw pink ocean waters and learned the history of salt production and the slave trade that mined the salt. Bettina showed us the native birds and explained the eco balance on the island. I enjoyed the distillery and the gorgeous residential neighborhood we drove to. Even my teenage sons remarked at how knowledgeable and soothing the tour guides voice was. No one was bored. We toured the entire island and didn’t want the tour to end. Bettina is a shining example of what true customer service is all about. She made the tour amazing.

There were 9 people in a van plus the driver. She was very good and we saw most of the island. Lots of highlights, especially the salt production area and the tiny slave huts used to house the men who worked the salt lakes. Saw iguanas, birds, and so much more. Our guide was a transplant from Germany and she was entertaining, but informative, too.

The Bonaire Discovery excursion was great and very informative! My family and I really enjoyed it!

When i went ashore for this excursion i was pleasantly surprised to find my name on a sign the tour driver/guide was holding. I was led to a van where only 1 couple was waiting and we set off for our Tour of Beautiful Bonaire. This excursion which covered most of this beautiful island was amazing, i highly recommend it.

Wonderfully thorough tour on a small bus with a knowledgeable tour guide. A great introduction to this beautiful island.

We had a great tour of Bonaire. It is a small island with technically not that much to see, but our tour guide showed us atypical touristy stuff and made everything interesting. We came away with the feeling that Bonaire is a beautiful island and a wonderful community. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had an excellent tour guide because he was an American, and we could understand him very well. Tour bus was easy to find, which was a problem on other islands.Tour was interesting and informative.

This tour covered the island from one tip to the next. It was fascinating to see how the sea salt is produced and learn about the history of that area of the island. Our guide was so knowledgeable about every inch of the island she showed us. We even got to stop and taste the cactus liquor produced on the island. The scenery was spectacular.

Great guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Loved seeing the island. A good tour for those not able to walk a lot. Get to see a lot.

We hit alot of ports on this particular cruise - but the Pink Salt waters on the left and pristine blue waters on the right was quite the sight to see. Our tour guide even stopped and got us each a piece of the salt from the mines. The foam looked like snow - which we had at home so sent pics to our friends and family.
