Jewels of Dominica

We had a private tour with plenty of time at each stop. The snorkeling guide was wonderful, helping us over the rough surf and pointing out many different features underwater. Our driver, Alvin, thoughtfully kept our bags dry when it started raining while we were snorkeling. The swim up the Titou Gorge was also a unique experience, though a little confusing to understand what was going on. We also had a nice little walk to beautiful waterfalls and a stop at an overlook of Roseau. Kubuli beer was a great touch!

The snorkeling adventure was excellent! Our tour guide was awesome! I highly recommend this tour!

A good small group tour- a great way to explore a small part of the coast and mountainous interior of this beautiful island.

What a great time! We broke up in smaller groups which allowed us to not feel like a herd. The places we saw were outstanding! The champagne beach was so cool!! The falls and that COLD water swim in the pool was ‘breathtaking’ in more ways then one!!

The snorkel on the champagne reef was outstanding as was the Ti Tou Gorge. Trafalgar Falls was specular. We traveled in a small van and the group was small. The tour guide was great. If I go back to Dominica, I will take this shore excursion again.

Went on this excursion 2/12/23. Best excursion ever. Our driver, Alvin, was personable and informative. At Champagne Beach our snorkeling instructor, Jefferson (aka Stingray), took good care of us. Our guide at Titou Gorge, Ollie (?), helped us through the VERY cold water to and from the fantastic waterfall. The Gorge is an exhilarating experience to say the least. The final segment of the excursion, Trafalgar Falls, was beautiful. Everything about this 5 hour excursion was well worth time. Highly recommended.

Alvin was our guide and he was excellent. With a small group, we were able to explore the main highlights of Dominica while receiving excellent commentary and historical facts. It was a beautiful excursion, better and cheaper than what the cruise line had to offer. Well worth it. I recommend strongly.

Even though it was raining at the beginning this tour was great. We went cave exploring, saw the falls and talked with our guide/driver & person in charge of the snorkeling portion while 2 went snorkeling. Even with the rain, we had a great time!

The excursion started out raining. The first stop was the snorkeling portion which the Canadian couple did while we talked with our guide and owner of the establishment--it also quit raining. the driver/guide gave info about the area. After getting on lifejackets, we went into water & thru the cave where we reached the falls. On the way to the last stop, we stopped along the roadside to see what a local had created. Great day!!

Best excursion of the entire cruise. Well worth the money. Went snorkling, then seen the botanical gardens,went swimming in the gorge, then seen the falls. Highly recommend this excursion. Better then any offered through the cruise line.

This was one of the best excursions that my wife and I have been on. The tour guide and driver were very nice and knowledgeable. We got to see quite a lot of the island and learned about the local culture. I would definitely recommend this.

This wasn't our first time to Dominica or to the Southern Caribbean, but this excursion is our favorite. This excursion includes fantastic snorkeling, breathtaking views of Roseau, a journey into the rainforest, an indescribable refreshing swim through a garden of Eden slot canyon, the adventure of passing behind a waterfall, and visiting twin waterfalls. Great sites, adventure, and fun, with a wonderful knowledgeable tour guide (Ailien) that joins you, in your unforgettable adventure. Don't miss this!

Dominica is beautiful, it reminded me of Maui the waterfalls and the beautiful green landscape. Swimming in the bubbles was a treat. I hope to go again

This was a very fun, active and educational tour of the beautiful island off Dominica. Both guide and driver were excellent at their jobs. Would do it again.

We took this excursion because it offered a smaller group and had the sights we were interested in seeing. Indeed, the island is beautiful, the excursion had only 6 people but most importantly, the guide, Ailain, was outstanding! He has a great knowledge of the island, is full of energy, was extremely helpful with negotiating the physical parts of the tour and when asked, really shared about himself personally. This made the tour special!

We had a wonderful time experiencing Dominica. Our guide was very helpful.

Our group of four just took this tour on March 19, 2019. Our tour guide Ailien went above and beyond to make sure that each one of us had the best experience possible. He personally swam with us while we snorkeled and pointed out things for us to see. He made swimming in the cave so much fun! As we drove to each destination he gave us not just information but personal insight into his home and community. I highly recommend both this tour and especially this guide.
