Intimate Old Nassau Dining Walk

A great experience!
March 28, 2022
Start to finish, we had a good experience! Murray texted me with details and Mark was our guide. We ended up having a private tour, due to no-shows, but had a great time. Food and drinks were fabulous. Graycliff winery didn't know we were coming and weren't prepared for us initially, but they provided and accommodated us spontaneously, so no issues at all! I have already booked this for my son and his girlfriend to go in 2 weeks!

Captain Ron was great

If you have a few hours to spend in Nassau I highly recommend this tour. Food was terrific and the walk was interesting, entertaining, and informative. The best part was Captain Ron. His first-person stories of Bahamian culture and history were a huge bonus for the tour. We wish we could give more than 5 stars.

Great Time with Captain Ron
November 26, 2018
We met early and easily in Pompey Square for a 3-stop walk. Ron is a native Bahamian with much to relate about the history of the islands. Our first stop at Talking Sticks, featured a parrot named Max and delicious Conch fritters. I was shocked when Lucky then brought a full plate, with rice and peas, chicken curry, plantains, and more, each as mouthwatering as the last. The strolls between stops are short, and we soon passed the pink government building to the impressive Greycliff Hotel, which features an astounding collection of wine, including the oldest drinkable bottle in the world. The last stop was Bahamian Barrels for wine of our own. I’ve learned to avoid wineries in areas not known for great grapes, and would not have chosen this stop for myself, but I was surprised by a truly top-notch tasting experience. I look back on this walking tour as one of my most cherished travels.
