Yucatecan Cooking Class with a Local

We went on this I 2019. It was the highlight of our trip. You really had experience of being in their culture. Very enjoyable!!

What an excellent excursion! It stated small group at a local’s house and that is no joke. Sofia picked us up in downtown Progresso (this part may need updated instructions) and my husband and I traveled 15 minutes to her cute beach house in the next town. She had all the ingredients prepped and walked us through several different local dishes. We then dined on our creations and enjoyed some local beer with the meal. Everything was delicious! Sofia was very conscious of the time and got us back to the bus to go back to cruise port in plenty of time. She also quickly followed up with an email with all of the recipes. Highly recommend for something outside the usual excursions!!
