Mt Parnitha National Park Hike with Lunch

This was the best tour I've ever been on. My cruise ship was a bit late in letting passengers off so I ended up missing my meeting time. However, once I was able to get in contact with my tour guide, Demetris (I believe that's how you spell his name), the experience went much smoother. The drive up Mt. Parnitha was incredibly beautiful with an amazing view of the whole of Athens. We stopped at a lodge further up the mountain to grab breakfast, and it should be noted that some people may find it a bit cold at that high of an elevation. The hike was so peaceful. My tour guide was excellent; he was very knowledgeable about the mountain and the geography of the Greek islands. We had some time after the hike so he was even nice enough to drive us around the major sights in Athens (like the Acropolis and the Arch of Hadrian) so we didn't miss anything. Overall, the tour guide went above and beyond what I was expecting. I wanted a unique experience, and that's exactly what I got.
