Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle

We were picked up at the port in private vans holding 8-10 passengers. We drove 45 minutes to the castle where we were given our tickets that came with an audio tour. We were there to tour on our own for about an hour and 15 minutes. The audio tour was ver informative and interesting. We then drove 10 minutes to the cave. We had 30 minutes before the tour that they had scheduled tour. During that time we walked through the shops and they had several cafes you could eat in. The cave tour was about an hour. Bring a jacket it is very cold inside the caves. You take a train to the interior rooms then have a guided tour of the passage ways. Would definitely recommend! It was one of our highlights from our trip!

Predjama Castle was very unique. A castle in the side of a cliff was not a let down. The taped narratives of many sites inside the castle was very informative. Postojna Cave will not be a disappointment! Wow! So Eminence & captivating. It would be awesome to attend a concert in the cave!!
