Best of Lindos and Rhodes

We had a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide. Would love to spend another day or so there.

First of all was almost half the price my cruise line charged for the same itinerary. We were only 5 passengers! Sofia, the guide and the driver were great! Saw more than what I expected. Have time to explore on my own. Definitely, Lindos (village and acropolis) and the Rhodes' old city are remarkable beautiful and interesting! A must do.

The Best of LIndos and Rhodes was one of my favorite tours of our trip. Sophia was our tour guide and she was amazing! Such a cool lady. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites and gave lots of information about Greece and Rhodes that I feel we would not have gotten on other tours. The old town was really cool but my favorite was the Lindos Acropolis and the little town of Lindos. The view from the top was breath taking and well worth the climb up the 297 steps! Also the pottery demonstration and stop at the pottery shop was so very nice. The pottery is beautiful and unique and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rhodes and if you get Sophia as your guide, you will be even more lucky.

Knowledgeable and informative guide and comfortable transportation. Nice mix of places. Archeological sites, visit to a Greek pottery factory and a castle! Truly got yo see the best of Lindos and Rhodes in one day!

Nice tour and cute town. There is a mini Acropolis that you could climb. My husband did it and really enjoyed it. We also went to a ceramic factory and learned about the history of it. We got to watch some people create ceramics and of course there was shopping for items. Yes, they do ship. This factory has been in the family business for a long time. Nice tour and the tour guide did a good job talking about the town.

Our guide Sophia was phenomenal! She was informative and very interesting. One of the best excursions we took in Greece. Highly recommend.

Arriving on Rhodes, we took our tour bus to Lindos, learning much about this island's history, incl ancient & medieval, prominence in ceramics & pottery, and relaxed atmosphere from our knowledgeable, informative, and funny SEG guide. The Acropolis at Lindos is one amazing site! Shuttling to the base town, it is a tedious walk up with a few of our party taking donkeys! My daughter & I got our steps in and it was worth the walk! With nice sea views, it was surreal strolling thru this ancient site. One stop was to Bonis Ceramics, with a nice lesson in the craft and time to purchase handcrafted pottery. Last stop was a nice paced tour around the Palace of the Grand Masters, where we had the option to return to our ship or to shop and make our own way back. This was a definite must-do excursion to see such great highlights of this island with such a long and varied history!

Our tour guide was fun. She called us the Pink Umbrella tour group. That's how we could find her if we got lost walking along the way. She was a great tour guide. She gave us great knowledge of the history of LIndos and Rhodes. The Acropolis of Lindos is def a hike so you walk down a hill then walk through the cute down and up stairs, slopes. You def need good walking shoes and bring water along the way to see the Lindos Acroplis. But Rhodes is a great town for sure. the food, history and shopping was great. Thanks for the lovely memories and beautiful photos along the way.

Solid guide with good English skills. The walk to the Acropolis at Lindos is definitely as described - a lot of steps and there were a great many people there so that the climb up is a little like a very slow parade. We very much enjoyed the walled town of Rhodes and would love to go back to explore further.

We had a really great day on this tour -- a surprise stop at Bonis Ceramics (which was fabulous!), and then on to Lindos. There is a lot of walking on this tour -- but worth the walk up to see the ruins! Old town Rhodes is amazing too -- we thoroughly enjoyed our day, and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip!

Excellent tour with all the best ingredients: knowledgeable tour guide, beautiful sites, small but fun group, lots of history!!! Highly recommend!!!

We were lucky to have Nick and Libby as our driver and tour guide on August 7, 2022. We were treated like royalty and saw more than we expected. Libby was very knowledgeable and was willing to take pictures and answer all of our questions.

This tour was great. The tour guide was very knowledgable. There is quite a bit of climbing at the Acropolis so if you aren't able to do that, you can wait at the bottom. We had a couple who probably shouldn't have climbed up with us as it slowed the group down. Luckily the people on the tour were patient.

Our tour guide, Stefanos was excellent! He is so knowledgeable and makes 'learning' interesting! Rhodes was my favorite for our Greece ports!

Guide and driver were very good. We enjoyed her stories.

Enjoyed this excursion very much. Guide was very well informed and imparted much local information. Easy to find operator outside the ship area. English was very good. Would recommend these operators.

Enjoyed this excursion. Especially Lindos. It was an amazing spot. We had free time to explore which I really like. Not as excited about the visit to the pottery factory.

Shore Excursions staff were located at the port just as we disembarked the ship. We were greeted by Stefanos, our fantastic guide for the whole day. We traveled by bus to Lindos and climbed to the Acropolis with Stefanos who sat with us for 30 minutes or so to give us a rich history lesson. As a history junkie, this was just an amazing experience. We traveled back to "Old Town" and Stefanos continued the tour. We opted to stay instead of returning to the ship. We purchased tickets to the Grand Master's Palace and Museum. We were just blown away by the grandeur of it all. We highly recommend this tour and Stephanos.

Lindos is ok, the landscape is ok, but the Old Towne In Rhodes should not be missed..there should be more time for this last part of tour...we missed the bus back to the ship as we could not find our way to the right exit, but the half hour walk was a quick one so as not to miss boat! We left clothing etc on the bus and we THANK the guide, KiKi very much for making sure the stuff got to customer services in board and we got it back! Kiki was an expert..loved her history chat. Good value.

accropolis was the best. Guide was great. well spoken and entertaining. I didn't think we were going to like the pottery place, but the owner was great and especially enjoyed watching them do their work. got some great souvenirs
